Greetings!
We are having such a fun week in Kindergarten! We have been reading about Peef the Christmas Bear, The Gingerbread Man and learning about different holiday traditions. Students wrote letters to Santa around Thanksgiving time. Many of the letters to Santa were published in the Star Publications paper. Mrs. Schultz sent out the December Albany Elementary newsletter. Make sure to check for some pictures of our kids. Thursday Special Person's Day! Students are so excited to build Gingerbread houses with their special people. Special people should arrive by 1:50 to allow time to check in. We will meet everyone in the lobby and walk up the lunch room together. Friday Students are invited to wear pajamas to school as we will be watching the Polar Express. Have a very Merry Christmas! Stephanie Sauerer

Hello!
We had a great week! We have been busy learning about different holiday traditions. The kids also enjoyed learning some new math games this week. I let the kids know that I will be gone tomorrow (Friday, December 14th). Please call the office with any after school changes. A wrapped coloring book is due tomorrow. Thank you for all of the kind words last week. My daughter is feeling better. I have lots of notes below. Please let me know if you have any questions. *Please turn in Special Person's Day envelope with a stamp, blue note, ice cream bucket and candy as soon as you are able. If you don't have an ice cream bucket, we do have a few extra that were donated. * December calendar, December reading log and December book order were all sent home in bee folders yesterday. *All homework bags from last week should be caught up now.
