Hello,
I hope you enjoyed the long weekend with your family. I am still in shock that it is the last week of Kindergarten. I have a few notes below. Please let me know if you have any questions. *Please make sure to empty your child's backpack. On Friday, I sent home their number writing binder, decodable books, and extra school supplies. I will be sending their journal binder home on Thursday. *We will be going to a movie on Tuesday. We will be seeing "Sherlock Gnomes." *Wednesday is Field Day. Please make sure to send tennis shoes, a water bottle, hat, and sunscreen with your child. We will be outside for at least two hours. If you plan to volunteer for this event, please check in at the office and meet us in our classroom at 12:15. *Thursday is our last day of school. Report Cards will come home in backpacks on Thursday. Stephanie Sauerer

I am so proud of each and every one of them! They are such a great group of kids! Have a wonderful weekend! Stephanie Sauerer Good Afternoon,
The Kindergarteners have worked super hard to fill up the marble jar. I am so proud of them! We will be having our celebration on Friday, May 11th. Students are invited to wear pajamas and bring a stuffed animal and/or blanket. They voted and want to watch the movie Toy Story. The students really aged me today when I said that I only have Toy Story on VHS. They all looked at me like I was 100 because most didn't know what a VHS was. I am wondering if anyone has Toy Story on DVD that we could borrow on Friday? If you do, please let me know as soon as possible. If your child completed the Reading Rox program, I will be sending home the ticket information tomorrow. Please check their folder tomorrow after school. Thank You, Stephanie Sauerer Hello!
We have had an exciting week in Kindergarten! We are learning about plant and animal life cycles. We welcomed a tadpole for a class pet. The class named him Nick. The kids get to take turns feeding Nick. We also planted flowers this week. The Kindergarteners are excited to water the flowers each day. It is so fun to see their excitement for learning! Please read the notes below. *We are almost out of snack. Please send one box of Ritz or Saltines to school. *Monday is the final day to turn in the Reading Rox sheets. Please be sure to complete the form and send it with your child on Monday. *Thursday, May 10th is the last day to turn in a book order for the school year. *Please, please, please continue to have your child practice reading sight words, saying their address and saying their phone number. Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend! Stephanie Sauerer |
