Good Afternoon,
*If you want your child to earn free Rox baseball tickets, make sure to turn in the weekly slips. I will collect the pink ones again tomorrow. I have added the green sheet for this week. Please return it next Monday. Students should read at least 35 minutes per week. *Your child has a paper copy of the note below. Ms. Sauerer's kindergarten class would love you to come join us during our music class time. Come see, experience, and learn all of the fun musical skills and concepts we have been working on this year! Bring your dancing shoes and an “A-game attitude” (as Mr. Resley likes to say) for a fun day of play! Your student will help teach you some fun music games and folk dances from around the globe! You are invited to attend your child's 2:30 P.M. music class on April 25th. We will meet in the lobby at 2:20. Looking forward to seeing you. Mrs. Sauerer and Mr. Resley Hello,
We had another busy week in Kindergarten! It is so fun to watch the students learn and grow each day! I have some important reminders below. *Return completed Reading Rox forms on Monday. *We have an early out Friday, April 20th. *Please complete and return orange phone number and address sheet. *Please continue to practice reading sight words. ***Students worked really hard to fill up the marble jar. We will be having our marble party on Monday, April 16th. Students voted to bring a stuffed animal to school. They can bring one stuffed animal. They will be playing with them during Free Choice and reading with them during Daily 5. Have a great weekend! Stephanie Sauerer Dear Parents,
*We are going to the Beauty and The Beast play on Wednesday, April 11th. Please remember to send a cold lunch with your child that day. (If you did not sign up for a school bagged lunch.) *Please complete and return the yellow/orange sheet that was in your child's folder on Friday. We will be working on phone numbers and addresses in a couple of weeks. *I am sending plants home with your child today. One of the speakers during career week, had the students plant grass or radishes. These can be kept at home. *PLEASE have your child read through the sight word list that is in their Bee Folder. It is so important that they know all of these words. We have been working really hard on them the past two weeks. The list is in the middle of the papers that are in the prongs of their folder. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day! Stephanie Sauerer Hello!
We have had such a busy week in Kindergarten! The students are doing great! Today, we had fun making 2D and 3D shapes out of marshmallows and toothpicks. The kids loved it. They will be bringing them home today. I said they had to ask parents if they could eat the marshmallows after they show the shapes to you. Please check your child's bee folder over the weekend. They are pretty full. There is also a form about The Reading Rox program. Students can earn two free baseball tickets if they complete the reading logs for the next four weeks. There is more information in their folder. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great weekend! Stephanie Sauerer |
