Hi,
We had a very busy but short week. Yesterday, we had our Valentine's Day Party. Today, we celebrated the 100th day of Kindergarten! Please be sure to check and clean out your child's folder and backpack over the break. School will resume on Tuesday, February 16th. Enjoy the break, Ms. Barthel Dear Parents,
The month of January flew by! We were busy learning about Martin Luther King Jr., heat and light, matter, addition, subtraction, and how to write our last names. We have a lot of fun things coming up in February. Please reference the February calendar that was sent home on Friday. Today, we celebrated Groundhog Day by making crowns, reading stories, and crawling through the classroom "cave" door. The students had a lot of fun today! February is "I love to read" month. We had Steph from Wild Country 99 and Barb from the Great River Regional Library come visit us today. Steph read us a story and Barb gave us information about the public libraries. Please be sure to fill out the blue reading logs that are in your child's Bee Folders. ** If any parents are interested in volunteering for our Valentine's Day Party next week, please let me know by Thursday, February 4th and I can give you the details. I hope you have a great day! Ms. Barthel |
